Desk Calendar

I thought you might like to see the January page of the desk calendar I have made for myself. The calendar is still under construction as I intend to include photos later in the year of my lambs born this April.
The January photo is of 'Penny' my Soay sheep who was a year old last April and is due to have her own lamb this year. Soays are considered to be the most primitive breed of sheep and colours range from fawn to dark brown. I sponsored Penny as soon as she was born as I loved her markings. She recognises me and answers to her name.

Papermania desk top calendar and Anita's Calendar

One of my favourites

I love tree stamps and my sheep and a number of my Christmas cards this year featured both. The tree stamps are from Stampin Up's Lovely as a Tree set and the sheep are from Hobby Art. The Christmas tree in the foreground has been stamped with Versafine Olympic Green and heat embossed with fine clear powder. Copics were used to colour the gems on the trees. Glamour dust provided the frosty effect and the background paper is a fancy pants design entitled chestnuts roasting.

Fed up with Snow

It was lovely to see the snow at first and to take photos around the garden for scrapbooking but it has gone on long enough and with various activities cancelled I thought I'd challenge myself to do something new while stuck at home. I love following other people's Craft blogs and getting inspiration from their designs so thought I'd have a go at blogging!

This card was inspired by one of Gaynor's classes at The Glitterpot. She loves choosing suitable papers to decoupage stamps and this Magenta Fuchsia stamp works a treat for a birthday card and made one for a friend this morning. Hope she likes it and hope the layering shows up.
